Any issues with '03-'05 Camrys?

Hey all. This past weekend I test drove an '03 Camry SE. I liked the car, but wasnt really ready to buy right now. Im looking at trading my F-150 in on a Camry next spring. That way I will have at least $2000 saved up for a down payment and my monthly payments should be at or below $200 a month.
My only question is, are there any issues with these cars? I seem to recall hearing of some issues with oil sludging, but wasnt sure which model year and which engines were effected by this. Any other issues? Thanks.

intake manifold covered under powertrain warranty (2003 but not sure of other years)
problems with squeaky steering wheel especially during winter (not sure about warranty coverage)

those are problems I'm aware of

I have an 02 and have owned it for about a year now. No problems as of yet, besides the EGR Valve going or needing to be cleaned, Fellow members here have told me how to clean it and test it if it's gone or not, which i'll be doing shortly. Other than that no problems from my end.

05 le i4, no probs so far. only minor rattles

in the cabin. dealer still trying to find and fix them.

you should be able to get an 03 for a very good price.

mine has depreciated $2,000 in 1.5yrs of ownership.

Thumping from the rear when accelerating from a stop. Most think its gas thumping into a corner in the tank as it is only present when tank is full or near full. You stop noticing it after awhile unless you make a effort to listen for it.

Scraping if you have lowering springs, oem body kit and drive hard like I do. lol

4-banger. The Camry I testdrove was a 4-banger and I thought it had plenty of power. I plan on doing all my own maintenance and I figure that a 4-banger should be a lot easier to work on than a V6. I used to have a '91 4Runner with a V6 and that thing was a nightmare to work on.
Im interested in a Camry for reliability, durability, comfort and decent fuel economy. I dont need nor do I really care about whether or not its fast, so the V6 has no real appeal to me.
