Gen6 19" rubbing issue?

going to get 19" rims and tires this weekend, was wondering if 19x8.5" and 245/35/19 will rub. i know offsets play a part and tire brand too.

complete details:
not yet lowered
245/35/19 falken fk452
19x8.5" offset +38

will it rub??

Moky,
You will be just fine. My rims and tires are:
245/35/20 Pirelli
20x8.5" offset +38
I have no rubbing.

MRR HR2..nice choice. I actually looked at those as my show rims. Are you getting the diamond cut/aluminum polished finish? The finish in that pic looks like the hyperblack finish.

im getting the brushed aluminum finish! was considering on getting the hr3 or hr4 but im lazy to clean the rims so these appealed to me as the simplest VIP-styled rim out there. i also found their japan counterpart...Cosmic japan

Yeah, definately get the brushed aluminum finish. For awhile it confused me because different companies will call the same finish different names, such as brushed aluminum, diamond cut, hypersilver, etc. Any reason you're not considering 20's?

too heavy for an i4 imo...plus im waiting for coils to come out so i can really go low and i was afraid 20s might rub considering i would have to get a lower offset so the rims can sit flush

plus the chrome too would be harder to maintain clean as we get wet weather here in vancouver bc 60% of the time. they have diff names for the finishes in japan though... mirror cut finish, hyper silver and chrome i think

I personally wouldnt go with 19s, even though i have 19s, Just look kinda small, unless u lower the car by a couple inches, in my mind.

Yeah you can still lower it pretty good on 20's. I have TRD's on my 20's and I think I could still go lower. It's all about offset.
