Gen5 woo finished trd springs

took a couple days to get to the back, been a busy week couple family members left the country for a while so after the plane took off today I went back and finished it off :-D
total job was maybe 10 hours or so with some hunting of the tools and figuring out stuff here and there since it's really my first project that's more hands on, happy with the output think I did everything proper and took it on the highway and some small windy streets, loving it

let me know what ya think

y_one2000 love it, the rims look nice

and johnnyzee you know i love your car haha the rims are perfect for it cause of the color and awsome design

geoff5093..you comming to that meet in NH soon? we need more camry reps hehe

carlos nothing much to it I just lost the thread that I looked at it had all the pics but here's a quick writeup:
take the wheel off/jack the car
undo the small bolts you need brake ones and the one staring you right in the face (might need some wd-40 for that but I just used a hex and a wrench to get it going)
what I did after is loosen the strut nut on top next so it's easier when I take it out, and I loosened the rest of the nuts on the top part about it
then I used another jack to put up the rotor (make sure this is done at a non-movable part just incase) so it's easier to take the big bolts out with this you can just undo them and slide it out by hand in 2 secs without any trouble
then pop the strut out by pushing it towards the car and just lead it out
now to take the spring off you'll need a spring compressor to make this easy (i got one from autozone, then you can return it for a full refund so it's free basically) then compress the spring un-do the nuts on top, take it out, compress the new springs if needed , put them in and bolt it all up again
lead it back into the car, nut up the top, and redo al lthe bolts on the bottom
I suggest getting or borrowing a torque wrench for this (a long one) so it's much easier and torque it up to needed specs (this can be found in the manual)
somethings off the top of my head: the huge bolts neecting the strut 188in/lbs,top nuts 55, top strut nut 36 the small ones are like 20, 14 or so can do those by hand easily
and the back is about the same excempt you have to take out the seat and the rear deck to get to the top mounting nuts to take the strut out
it's not really a long job once you do one just need the tools
sockets you'll need is 22mm,16mm,14mm i beleive,19mm and some small ones probably 12/11/10mm

hope it helps at all, there's a lot of writeups for this I dont have the pics sry =/

O by the way I was thinking of painting my stock caliper with black or silver but I'm not sure what do you guys with? probly is that it's the whole rotor in the back...that potentially could get painted also so i'm not sure....let me know what you think if that was done I'm really not sure how it would look don't think I've seen camry's with that painted at least gen 5
