XenonDepot uses Phillips... and I wouldn't put McCullough with those... Denso and Phillips are much higher quality.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Too bad there's no D2S adapters for the H11 for the Gen6 Camry like there are for the H7, 9003, etc.

Gen5

Is it possible, or just a waste of time...

Someone has some HID lights from an '04 Caddy XLR...could/would they work in a Gen5 Camry...or would you have to do a lot work to get them to work?

Are you talking about HIDs or HID projectors?

Either way, you can't take HIDs out of a car that has them OEM because the base won't fit... the Camry uses a 9006 base. OEM HIDs use a D1S, D1R, D2S, D2R, or D4S base.

As far as putting HID projectors in (and the aftermarket projectors you have are not HID projectors), yes, a lot of work is required. Only with an HID projector (or reflector) which accepts the D1, D2, or D4 bases can you literally take HIDs out of a car that came stock with them and use them.

^This is where the term "HID retrofit" comes from.
