Gen6 Bluetooth Sucks!

Does anyone else have problems with their bluetooth? No one seems to be able to hear me when I call them. Every other word is "What?" or "Huh?". Is it the phone that I use, a RAZR, the service provider, Sprint, or is it the bluetooth? It doesn't matter if I have great reception or not, it just sucks. Anyone else experience this or should I bring the car in for service?

Thank you again for your assistance.

I use a RAZR with T-Mobile (and previously a RAZR with Verizon) w/o any problem.

I have a shitty old Moto V551 which works perfectly with the car. In fact, the reason why I still keep it is because I'm afraid these new super-phones will actually work worse (as you have shown in fact).

My wife's razor works fine and I have least hundred or more phones on and Siennas and prius and from different carries so I think its your phone or a bad mic. Hope that helps.

I have a RAZR with Cingular/AT&T - it works fine. Often times the people on the other end don't even realize I'm in my car.

Same with my Wife's RAZR. Works fine. However, my cheaper NOKIA 6103 does sound a bit better though...

If there is background noise on their end, it will inhibit the microfone to pick up your voice, and vice versa.

Roll your windows up, close the sunroof and speak towards the center of the windshield. The mic is right by the map lights... you gotta speak up a little bit...

my girl has a razor I hear a little echo but I think that is normal on all speakerphones.... I do know that there is diffrent types of bluetooth versions.....I had a treo 650p will a handsfree ear piece and it had low volume and did not work really good....so I moved to the treo 700w and had great volume and no problems so check to see if there is a updated version or a software update you can do....

thanks

They're just comfortable phones. They're thin so you can barely feel it if its in your pocket, and when you're using it, its just comfortable. Its probably one of the most comfortable phones I've ever used.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Check your provider's coverage area, but if you have no problems using ur phone without bluetooth, then maybe there is something wrong with the bluetooth on your phone... The RAZRs are known to have problems.

If you can get a hold of another phone (from a friend), you can test it out with it and if the sound quality is still bad, then it may be the bluetooth on your car is bad.

Just test out a few options and you will know what is wrong.
