5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Well, they chose to retain that stupid central knob as you can see. And so the Accord continues to be the ugly duckling when it comes to interior. Who knows? Once we see more, maybe it will gain that title in the exterior category, too.
i like it, only thing about my sisters car that i actually do like...mine i have to reach for and i hate it.

I don't like that recessed NAV screen. I know why they did it, but the design is damn ugly. The whole upper dash shape is sickly organic.
I guess they didn't study the 5-series interior well enough, cuz it's still miles ahead.
See .... now I Think that looks disgusting!
I plan on getting this next year:
Much nicer .... wouldn't you agree.
Once I get married next fall, I'll have some cash for this baby .... can't wait! GS350AWD

I'm not a fan of the look either, but I will admit that it is very funtional. The knob alows the user to scroll through functions quickly and with ease on the information screens. Toyota has incorporated some of these in cars as well as other manufacturers. The look of touch screens are alot more appealing, but safety and functionality rule with the use of a smart knob.
looks too busy....and i dont like how the airflow settinga are laid out all in a line like in my 96 integra.....they should just stick with knobs like the camry for ease of use and space saving
ill stick with the camry thanks....
but the GS350 is soo sick! they make BMWs look cheap and fugly
i hate knob controls....they suck! I honestly don't mind the volume being a knob control, but i do prefer flush buttons or touchscreen...
