So i got them installed today and drove around for a while. So far I'm extremely disappointed and am wishing i didnt pay to have them installed. The ride has been a 100% downgrade from stock. It feels extremely bouncy and not firm at all. I'm not sure if this is because struts need a "breaking in" period to perform normally, or if its because the wheel alignment went way off because of the installation. I'm getting the wheels aligned tomorrow, hopefully this makes a difference.
^The reason is because GR-2's are not performance struts. They are stock replacements. They're not made to make your car feel stiffer. They're made as an aftermarket alternative to stock struts, and conform to stock specifications.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

I realize that they're not performance struts. But the stock struts were 10X firmer. These are bouncy as hell.
^This is due to the springs, not the struts. The struts have nothing to do with it. It'd feel the same on stock struts. GR-2's are just not made for performance. They're made as an alternative to stock. In fact, I think if I blew a strut (and so far, I've been lowered for 22,000 miles (83k total on the odo) on stock struts with no problems), I'd get stock struts instead of KYB's to replace it.

^My ride quality sucked with Eibach and stock struts. I drive a lot so I couldn't wait for a performance strut (and who knows when we'll have one available). I found that people on this forum were saying that GR-2's are good combination with the Eibach's. I gave it a try and I'm very satisfied. Now my ride quality is very close to stock.
Ok, I have to correct myself. Excuse me for my utter noobness. The ride actually got 10X stiffer with the KYB's. What I referred to as "bounciness" in my opening post was actually harshness in the ride. When i put 17's on my car the ride actually got smoother than with stock wheels. Then i changed the struts and the ride got really rough. I had three different mechanics take my car for a drive and they all said the same thing. What i thought was bounce is just stiffness because of the combination of the 17"'s and the KYB's. They all said that the KYB's are an excellent strut, and the ride is harsher because they are higher pressure struts than stock ones. Either way I'm either going to have to get used to the ride harshness or maybe take out the kyb's and put monroe's in. The handling is excellent though.
