Gen6 Does anyone use a car cover? Recommendations?

After buying a cheap car cover from ebay, I'm in the market to buy a more substantial, better quality car cover. Since I don't have a garage nor do I drive the camry often, I need a good quality car cover. Does anyone have any recommendations?

I used one on my convertible when i was in hospital for the summer, though it was also parked in the garage. It was a microfibre one. It's only water resistant not water proof. It's a SideWind Series 100 for luxury cars. Worked great kept the dust and all that other crap off the car. Just make sure the car is clean before putting it on. (All of them say that) I used it on my dad's Matrix for a month while they were in Hawaii as well. Works well!

Not a problem. There's better ones out there than mine as well. But costly..mine was about 90 bucks Canadian (roughly 82 USD) at the time. Just go to an AutoZone or any parts/car care store and ask some questions!

Wow, that is much cheaper than the California Car Cover that I was looking at -- $250.

These are the ones that I was looking at...specifically the Noah, but not ruling out the Superweave (I kinda like the ability to customize the colors).

I'd get the one you can customize with the colours. Superweave.

I like that one a lot since you can wash it and customize the colors, but it is $350-$400.

if you're going to use it alot and get your moneys worth out of it, then go for it. if not just get a good but cheap one. That's why i got a good but cheap one..i only use it when either my parents go on vacation and i cover my dad's car. or i go into hospitala nd i cover mine. Other than that it's never covered.

I bought one from Cal Car Cover and I highly recommended it. It protects my car from dust, sun and most importantly bird pooh..lol.

Which cover did you get?? You are the first person that has responded that has experience with California Car Cover. My friend had the Noah and said it was great. I'm interested in the superweave because of the choice in colors and the fact that you can wash it in your laundry machine at home. What was your experience? What car do you have?

I got the superweave myself for my Camry LE model. Its very durable and it looks like it will last a long time. I've had it for over a year. I never washed it in the machine, but when it does get dirty I put it over my car and give it a good wash down. You might want to get a cable to tie it down on those windy days.

What color did you get? I was thinking about getting the blue on the top and the grey or black on the sides since I have the blue ribbon se. However, their website recommends grey only since my car will be outside all the time and it will fade. Any thoughts?

My car is gray so I got the gray to match. As for my other side, I think its gray as well. My brother use to have a blue car cover back int he days, but it wasnt from Cal Car Cover and that shit faded to all shades of blue. The gray looks the same color to me after a year with no or little fading.
