Interior woodgrain trim

I have just ordered a red XLE for my wife. She loved everything about the car except the cheap looking yellow imitation woodgrain on the console and door panels. I must agree, they are going to look aweful on her red car with gray leather. She really liked those pieces (silver color) on the SE. Now if I could only find a wrecked 2007 SE to pull those pieces from.

You have 2 options.
1. Buy OEM part at toyotapartspeople.com or any similar sites.
2. Buy aftermarket trims at wooddash.com (click on my car site to see them)

SE trim pieces aren't gonna fit because the SE has climate control knobs the XLE has the automatic climate control... you could go for a real wood kit at wooddash.com though....

I would give it some time. She may get used to it and not care.

After a month or so, if she stills hates it then do something. That way you don't end up wasting money on something for nothing.

I only say that because I don't think it's THAT bad. It's your car though.

Congrats on the purchase and enjoy your new car.

I agree. I have an 07 XLE with the gray leather interior and I was turned off by the fake wood trim at first. Our previous 98 XLE had real wood. After a while the appearance of the fake wood grows on the 07 kind of grows on you, but then so does fungus.
