Gen6 Quick question regarding wheels.

I'm currently in the process of trying to obtain some oem toyota wheels to use as winter shoes down the road.

I'm looking at gen5 Camry wheels. I saw the 5-spoke design, which was used on the XLE V6s I believe. They are 16x6.5 wheels, would that fit a 205 width tire?

I'm planinng to go with 205/65/16 for winter tires for my Gen6 Camry.

I never quite understood how tire sizings go, what does 16x6 fit, what about 16x7? I've heard people fitting many different tire widths with different wheels. What is the bolt pattern for the Gen6's? It is 114x5 right?

Thanks a lot!

Usually the tire manufacture will list what rim widths the tire will fit. The Gen6s use a 5x114.3 bolt pattern and 205 should fit fine. I would just stick with the stock tire size 215/60R16 so the speedo isn't off or else try to keep it as close as possible. You can use this tire calculator:
http://www.1010tires.com/TireSizeCalculator.asp

Here is the full specs for the stock tire/wheel on the Gen6.

So a 16x6.5 wheel would fit 205 width tires?

Yes, it would fit. I had the 2001 Camry, when I had to buy new tires, I plus size it from 195 to 205. No problem at all. I bought my tires and mounted from Discounted Tires.
