i didn't use any wire harness... eclipse units are plug and play for non jbl stereos

however... this may be what you are looking for? just be warned... it will bypass your factory amp.

pics of harness:

i input on crutchfield that i had a factory jbl stereo... this is what they added.

You have a standard Toyota 2 plug system. Did the old or new radio have a remote amp?

The link below can help you.

www.installdr.com/Harnesses/Toyota-Wiring.pdf

The Toyota service manual wiring diagrams often list both remote amp and built-in system wiring diagrams. Sometimes even the optional JBL system if offered is listed. Download the appropriate generation manual from the link below.

ok i worked on my car today and was going by cam2xrunner's idea that there is the proper harnesses down the line of the jbl harness that will fit the non jbl harnesses.. and guess what, i found them! hooked it up, wired it up and i was good to go! i just finished my install. mom was yelling saying that it was late and my gf is prob pissed that i didnt go visit her at work, but its all wired up! got my in dash unit in, components, eclipse 4 ch amp.. my xtant sub amp was sticking in protect mode, couldnt figure it out... so i bridged the rear 2 ch's of the eclipse amp to power the sub for now.

sorry i dont have pics but it was way too late and im tired.. will take during the day sometime soon lol.

any input on what the issue with my sub amp? no onboard exterior fuses, power dist. block is fine, ground is good, REM is good since i can see the protect mode light on...

Hey, i am about to attempt the same thing with the family's camry. We have a 06 XLE, of course with the JBL System, what did you do to make it work? I'm planning to install the ecplise avn5500. Thanks.
