Gen5 Intermittent Power Locks

My 04 Camry has an intermittent problem with the power locks.

The driver's door will open fine, both with the remote and the controls, but sometimes the passanger side and the rear doors will not unlock.

All doors seem to lock fine, its just unlocking which is problematic.

What do you guys think it is??
I've already tried taking off the door panel and reconnecting the wries, but it doesnt seem to help.
I'm also pretty sure its not the power locking mechanism (the black thing in the door)

You have to push unlock twice to unlock all the doors. pushing unlock once only does the drivers door. With the keyfob...and ifyou don't open a door wintin 30sec. they relock.

yes i know
it doesnt work
the inside controls to unlock/lock the doors do not unlock the passenger or rear doors.
it will only unlock the drivers door.

i dont think its the controls though

cause each control on every door will work for locking, but not unlocking

I would look at the driver's door switch. If you had one door lock fail to unlock I would guess that the solenoid in that door had failed, but since you are suddenly have trouble with all doors except the driver's door, the problem must be in the switch on the driver's door. It's the only common link between all the doors.

I tried that and it did not work.
It did work for a little bit when i poked the connecter with a voltmeter.
Now its back to just locking and not unlocking for 3 doors.

What do you mean by switch?
As in the control panel to lock/unlock door, control mirrors etc.??

Or are you talking about the actual switch that opens and locks the door??

I tried taking out the power lock mechanism of the driver door, but the other 3 doors still locked but wouldnt unlock

the power lock mechanism is this black, almost kidney like device that is behind the door.

The problem has to be either a fuse or in the door switch which controls the three don't work. It isn't likely that all three would fail at the same time.
