5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I decided I wanted a car that had more options for modifying, so I traded my 07 Camry in on an 07 Subaru WRX. I spent the weekend swapping swaybars, exhaust, and reprogramming the engine management system. I'll miss the Camry, but wanted a sprtier toy. However, I do have a Borla exhaust system for sale now.....its listed under the for sale forum.

As long as your content with it, thats all the matters. Personally I would have opted for the Legacy GT and modify that. The WRX are too common.
Yeah, but not as common as our Camry's
Congrats on the Subie btw. I was gonna suggest you wait though until the new Legacy 3.0 V6 (with standard sport lip kit) comes out though but great car nonetheless.

Your signature show you had an I4. If I were you I would have traded it to a V6.
But what has been done is done, just go forward and be happy with your decision.
Good luck.

A WRX - STI was my 1st choice but the wife can't drive a manual so went with the Camry(traded in my 03 BMW Z4 3.0 6 spd - 1st baby on the way). Need the SUV for towing on race weekends so we needed 2 automatic vehicles.

I looked at and test drove Subaru Legacy GT.
Nice handling vehicle with some nice power and turbo lag.
Just felt the Camry XLE was so much more car for the same money.
