Steering Wheel Upgrade?

So I'll eventually be upgrading my stock CD player for a Eclipse 5510, Nav system w/ bluetooth. After looking through the forums, I saw that some people were still able to use their factory steering controls for the CD player and bluetooth with the 5510. Unfortunately, because i only have the stock system, my steering wheel does not have the bluetooth controls.

I found this today:

Would it be possible to upgrade my steering wheel to this one to use bluetooth with the Eclipse 5510?

this is irrelevant. i have the 5510 unit and opted for the unit without the bluetooth. i too have the stock uni and no bluetooth controls. but the lack of bluetooth controls is irrelevant due to the fact that the bluetooth for the 5510 isn't an eclipse product but rather just an add-on parrot unit which means you get zero integration with the headunit other than the fact that when you accept a call with the parrot bluetooth, it will mute your sound. eclipse's bluetooth is audio only and will not allow you to punch in phone numbers on the 5510's screen and make calls through the navigational unit. not to mention you have to find a place to put the parrot bt's microphone and button. the microphone is easy to hide, but that button is next to impossible to integrate into the car without making it stick out like a sore thumb, otherwise any other hidden area makes it a pain to press. i say do what i did, get the non-bluetooth one and take that 100 bucks and get a nice bluetooth headset.
