Chip solutions

So apparently here in california our highways are loaded with pebbles and rocks that fling up at any given time!! Well after washing the car this weeked I noticed a few minor chips on hood and a few dings but yesterday the wife was driviing home and a small marble sized rock flung up and hit driver side fender and put a pretty good sized chip in paint.. Obviously you cant just touch up the paint without it looking like crap so is there anything on the auto market that will fix this? I understand rocks will hit the car it's not that, I just dont want the chips getting bigger or rusting or anything like that...

Mine looks like swiss cheese and it only has 18,000 miles. Other than a bra or putting the 3M film all over the hood and bumper, I dont see another solution. Toyota is using cheaper materials on their vehicles. Cheaper paint, less coats, plastic whereever possible, how do you think they get to be number 1. I wonder how much it costs to make the car? $6000 -$8000 doruru?

My car has a few small battle scars, and a couple obvious spots where a cheap fix-up job was done. Rocks are a big problem in CA, especially on mountain roads. I haven't seen any decent way to fix noticeable chips without sending it to a good body shop. Is your chip also a small dent/scrape? I have heard of scratch fillers working to some extent...
