My personal opinion is that I don't think this is smart business. When/If problems arise it will be easy to point that direction and it equates to building GM cars at a Ford plant or vice versa. Just should not be done but the profit margin is what drives everything. Toyota wants more production and this is the short path to achieve that goal.
So now we just have to sit around and wait for them to hit the lots so we can learn the vin sequences and odd characteristics. Something will be different, like a squeeky back seat or something!

They are on the lots....we have about a dozen in-stock from the Lafayette, IN plant. VIN's start with "4T4" instead of the "4T1" from Georgetown or "JTN" from Japan.

Don't laugh but do you notice any differences as far as paint, driving qualities, anything other than the VIN?
