Gen5 TRD catback exhaust/TRD sport muffler?

okay this may be a stupid question, but at some of the online stores i visit they sell the TRD catback exhaust and others they have the TRD sport muffler... are they both referring to the same thing? (the axle-back exhaust)

also is there a rear-sway bar for gen 5 camry's?

It's the same thing. Basically from the rear axle back.

Yes, there is a TRD rear sway bar available for 02-04, but I've yet to find or hear of a TRD RSB for 05-06 (to my knowledge anyways).

Odd, if you look it up by vehicle you get this breakdown right here:

http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...06&catalogid=1

When you type in the part number it doesn't say what years that it's for.

Swaybars aren't interchangeable from Gen 5 to Gen 5.5 according to every single parts guy that I've talked to. Even the springs are different. Interesting.

I'm not gonna run out and get one until I can clear this up. I don't doubt that it will fit. I am reluctant to install it until I know for sure. If the application isn't correct, then I doubt it will function as good.

if you're looking it up by vehicle, it won't show the TRD swaybars... those are the stock/factory ones i believe. LE/XLE's have the same RSBs, SE's have a thicker one i think.

check this link :http://www.trademotion.com/partlocat...17&startrow=11

this is the one i ordered, it fits and works perfectly. it comes with the proper sized bushings for the thicker RSB.

You're probably right.

I have an 06 and haven't found a RSB yet. I want one badly too. These cars plow the front terribly.

I need to compare my car to an 05.

Everyone that I've talked to in the past says there isn't a TRD RSB for 06's. I guess that I concluded they didn't make them for 05's because it's a Gen 5.5 also.

So you're saying that you are proving that 06's are the same by posting a link that says: TRD Rear Sway Bar, Camry 2002-2005 CLICK ON TABS TO EXPLORE DETAILS

That's not proof to me. That's the problem I've been running in to. I've had Toyota parts guys even check part numbers for the 06's against the 05's and earlier. They're not the same. Something has changed.

I would like to get one, but apparently they don't make if for an 06.

I would but I'm not home. I'll see if I can get a camera and post a pic.

Mines an LE, what's yours?

If someone else can post a rear suspension and swaybar pic of an 06 LE please do. I would greatly appreciate it.

^ Thanks. I don't have a way to take and post pics. I'm going to go look at my car though.

EDIT: After looking, the swaybar looks basically the same. The mounting point of the bushing is different though. The one on my car is more like a strap instead of a block like on your car.
