5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
Also I have finally fixed my spring problem. I have purchased Eibachs and SE front struts and now have it all installed. Although the drop is no quite as much. The whole bad ride and everything I complained about for 10 months is fixed.
When comparing the Sprints next to the Eibachs it is like comparing a bike spring to a car spring. I cannot even believe Sprint is allowed to sale those. I will be contacting sprint to let them know how I feel.
I originally wanted the Sprints until I talked with you. You steered me away for sure. I think you basically said "Do you want your Camry to ride like shit?" LOL! I love my TRD springs. Thanks for the great advice! Thats what forums like this are for.

Just thought I would send an update.
That's good news. I actually thinking of doing the reverse of what you did. I want to install TRD srping in the front and SE spring in the back because as of now my rear are already a little lower than a front. But I want the same spring for the whole set. So basically I am looking for a set of spring that give me a more drop in the front than in the back. That is why I am waiting for the Intrax springs to come out this July.
btw, now you need to update your signature

You mean you want the SE Struts? I only put the se struts in the front because mine were ruined from the Sprints and I figured if I had to get new I may as well get the SE rather then the stock XLEs. Since the SEs are basically the KYB GR-2s anyway. Make sure you see some photos of the Intrax and get a visual of the quality. It the look like your bicycle could use them I would stay away from them. But good luck on what every you choose to do.

if they come out for the Gen6 are you considering getting them? I don't really want to be a guinea pig..but they are lifetime warrenty...i don't know what to do! or even if i want to lower!!
The above springs are cheaper for a reason. Do it right the first time and it will cost you less in the long run. If you want to save money don't modify in the first place.
^ thanks for the advice! I'll read up on the H&R springs, i've read aboutthe others already. Going to price them out as well. Still haven't decided on lowering yet.

i have H&R's on my 03, and i gotta say i'm lovin them... the stance is perfect, not too low, not too much wheelgap...the handling is firm, yet the ride is still smooth... can't go wrong
