I'm thinking about converting my 2005 camry to a manual. What all does this entail, and is it harder than I am imagining in my mind? I have limited experience working on BMWs and generally haven't had problems doing things mechanically, so I think I would be up for it as long as it's worth the hassle.

the EASIEST and BEST way to do it...buy a manual camry.

Yeah, just get one with a manual tranny. If you don't it'll be more of a headache and more $$$ out of your wallet than you can imagine.

^ it's possible...hard work, but possible...seen it done to a few cars but not a Camry..

It's been done on several Camrys. Eye8Pussies is in the process of converting his Gen 3 right now.

This is my first relatively new car. I guess it's easier on older cars...oh well. Thanks for the info.
