Shops that carry solarguard quantum tint?

has anyone in the socal area had their tints done with the SolarGuard Quantum tint? I've read that it's the top of the line. Disregarding radio reception loss, are you satisified with this tint? can you recommend a comparable alternative? how much did you pay and where did you have it done?

I'd like to have it done for around $200 flat. Thanks for your time.

I forgot how much I paid just for tint, I had the guy o my tint and alarm at same time so Ill call him tomorrow or wednesday he is closed mondays and had mid month inventory tomorrow so he'll be closed.. but I love my tint.. too me adds that bit of "classy" look to your car and keeps the inside pretty cool throughout the day so thats my take on it.

I have the 3M (metal) Color Stable ones but I haven't notice any major degradation in radio repection.

I think heard of that SolarGuard but I think it's not the best.

Lesson that I learn from my car tinting experience. Make sure the tinter doesn't cut the tint by hand. My tinter caused over $600 in damage (cut the vinyls) and also used the heat gun while leaving very noticable burn marks on the window moldings.

I had the Solarguard and after 5 years the tint turned a touch purple. The dealer who installed it replaced it with Lumar. The Lumar and 3M is much better in my opinion.

ok, so it's down to either:

1. Llumar Platinum Plus $275
2. 3m Color Stable: $325, $180
3. Solar Gard HP Quantum

I'm leaning towards the Llumar right now as it appears to have the most heat reflection (a must in the SoCal Heat) Any advice on where to get tinted and how much to pay in Southern California? I listed a quote I got from OCtintshop.com. Has anyone used them? Can anybody recommend better?

Edit: added price quotes.

How are Madico and Soltek films? A couple shops I quoted use these films and they have a lifetime warranty. Don't know much about it so I wanted to check here 1st...

Update:

I got the 3M Color Stable tint today. I initially wanted 5% back and 35% front, but the shop I went to only carried the 35% and the 20% to my chagrin. In retrospect, however, I'm glad that I opted for the 20% back, I think any darker would have compromised my ability to see out my rear window.

I paid $180 flat for the entire job. I think that it was a pretty good deal given the quality of the film and the reputation of the shop. If anyone else is interested in having the 3M Color Stable for $180, check out www.tintmastercity.com, and ask for Robert. He's a pretty nice guy. I'll try to get some pics up soon.
