Buying a new Camry in Socal

Looking to buy a new Camry V6 very soon in socal... what kind of price
should I expect (-+ from invoice)? I saw quite a few dealers advertising
discounts for I4 models.. but almost never the V6 ones.

Dealer recommendation also appreciated!

With the gas prices, I go for the 4 instead of the V6.

I see you are in Los Angeles. I heard the Toyota in Glendale is a good dealership to go to.

Avoid the Toyota in Granada Hils (?) It's called Hammer. I heard few complaints about them. The service shop is good but not the dealership part.

If you really want a very nice fancy Camry, I go for the SE V6. Yes, it cost more though.

Check out Longo Toyota go to the Scion Department and ask for Richard Meraz. He's a real cool guy and he hooked me up big time. He got me a fully loaded SE V6 w/ Navi for the same montly payment that Symes in Pasadena was offering me for a base SE V6.

Purchased the 07 Camry V6 LE, no frills (no JBL or alloys or moonroof) for $23,700 out the door (including TTL) at Longo back in April of 2006 (over a year ago.) Prices should be more negotiable now.

Also, try the AAA Car Buying service as a starting point (or place to buy). Just tell them what you want, model, packages, trim and they'll call their list of dealers to find you one. From the two times I've used them, they've always quoted me around 200 - 500 above dealer invoice, which is pretty good. The second time I used them, I took the quote they gave me and ran it by my local dealer. They told me AAA couldn't get me the car at that price for about an hour, then finally miraculously found a way to get me the car at 500 less then AAA's quoted price

So I would atleast give them a call to get a starting point on price and to use as a bargaining chip.

Email Sean for a direct quote. He is the Internet/Fleet sales manager. I got my final quote after about a few days of online/email haggling (via carsdirect) and basically only had to pick up the car when we finally reached a price. When I came to pick up the car, it only took 15 minutes for the paperwork and I was gone. I've sent two of my cousins to him and both got good deals. Tell him that Ryan with the white 2007 Camry LE sent you.

The dealership is Penske Toyota of Downey.

Hamer is the best dealership experience that I've ever had when I bought my '07 V6 LE. Its off of Sepulveda and just north of Devonshire.

The dealership to avoid is Keyes of Van Nuys. Fuck that dealership.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
