prewired for rearview mirror with autodim/digital compass???

i always found this handy and i found one that says it's from a camry for sale and was wondering if all camrys come prewired for it i have a 2005 SE.

No, this is not a factory feature at all. Added by the distributors at their poe's.

^yup, like he said not a factory option... no model is prewired for it. however, it is not difficult to install... search around, there's probably quite a few threads with pics on the installation of an autodimming/compass/homelink mirror. it should be very similiar between different models and gens.

yeah, it is NOT prewired. I wire tapped into existing wiring up by the console already. i have a sunroof, so more wires to use. this is probably not a job for those without a basic electrical understanding. I just found a wire that was 12V constant, 12V switched and a ground w/my handy dandy multi-meter.
