Gen6 New toy for my 2007 V6 Camry LE

Hi Guys-
Been absent a while from this forum but I finally have some quality time to spend as I please. The good news for today is I finally purchased a new toy for my 2007 V6 LE and it's a ScanGauge II. My old ride was a '99 Crown Vic which had the usual bunch of "idiot lights and quasi-gauges" which for example showed just the presense or lack thereoff of critical readings such as fuel pressure, voltage, oil pressure, coolant temperature, etc. I travel quite a bit as part of my profession and having been stranded out of state more times than I care to mention I learned the important of always doing my own preventative maintainenace and monitor critical readings mentioned above. I normally purchase new vehicles every 5-7 years depending on accumulated mileage but more importantly would retire cars early especially if said vehicle had a propensity of being "in the repair shop more than the road" for those exotic repairs I cared not to tackle. On my '99 Crown Vic I installed Autometer gauges (see below) because the complexity of these new car required that I be cognizant of potential troubles. The old days when you could check for basics such as spark, gas, and combustion by simply having a unsuspecting buddy hold a free "spark plug wire while you cranked the engine. If he screamed and yelled when you cranked the engine you knew you had spark. For a no start condiction you could add a capful of gas down the old carburator. Canot do this anymore hence a need for gauges as shown in my old "99 Crown Vic:

Anyway I had a urgent need to get a few gauges installed on the new Camry but dreaded butchering up the A-pillers, snaking wires under the dash especially with such a compact car not to mention the Camry A-pillars contained air bags. I chased down this ScanGauge II which completely eliminates a need to chase down Camry gauge pods and pricey Autometer gauges. This new ScanGauge is the "cat's meow!"! Purchased via ebay , paid $160, delivered in 2 days, installed in less than 20 minutes and this gauge shows actual realtime fuel pressure, voltage, coolant temperature, real time mpg's but more importantly if you set a DTC you can pull the codes yourself. www.scangauge.com sells the gauges set for $169 but ebay sells same new items for $159.95...$10.00 savings
