Gen6 GROUP BUY Proposal - Camry Japan Turn Signal Folding Mirrors

I really want the Folding, LED Turn Signal Side Mirrors found on the 2007 Camry in Japan. I found this product months ago at newtoyotaparts.com (Carson Toyota in Cali). Thye are asking $399 shipped. They are available in Super White, Blizzard Pearl, Titanium Metallic, Black, Barcelona Red, Aloe Green & Blue Ribbon Metallic. Unfortunately I have Magnetic Gray, and they aren't available pre-painted in my color.

I am proposing that we start a GROUP BUY list. I will take the liberty of organizing the gorup buy, and keep a list of everyone interested. I really need to get the price of these down, as I will have to have mine painted in addition to purchasing the mirrors.

Please respond to my post and add your name & color code that you want the mirrors in to the list below:

Camry Japan Mirrors GROUP BUY List:
1. pillpusher84 - 202 (Black)

Are they for left hand drive, with the convex glass on the right side?

Are they heated?

hey

i actually called about three weeks ago on these and they are covers .. for the mirors have to take our mirrors off then take them apart then put these covers on and then wire them .. and they dont even have the wire.. so its not worth the money in my opinion .. it might be better to look for the real deal from japan .. or australia and see if someone can actually order those.. so i said forget these mirrors.. or my fault covers.

Wiring them up to the turn signals would be a real pain in the ass IMO, not really worth it. Maybe just get some Scion tC mirrors, lol

hey

from what i know they should be just like any civic mirrors .. but remember these arent the mirrors they are covers.. only.. so all they will do is have two wires that will splice into the front turn signals.. but not worth 399.99 at all .

$400 for the mirrors, eh? Well can you please check if they are also auto-dimming and heated?

At least the driver's side? If so, then I will participate.

Who did you speak with over at Carson? I forget who I spoke with months ago ... but from what I understood, these were the entire housings complete w/ mirrors and all. I know there were no wiring harnesses, but what good would a harness do you anyways .... its not going to match up to anything in your camry anyways .... so whats the point??

I will definately do MUCH MORE investigating before I allow my buddys here to get involved if it is going to be a shitty product!

Hey

Hey I Had Spoken With Cesar At Carson .. And He Told Me Has Never Sold A Set.. They Are Covers.. And No Not Auto Dimmming Or Anything .. Same Mirrors You Have Now Not Heated Or Nothing .. Just A Cover With The Turn Signal Light .. Would Be Better To Have Someone Cut Your Mirror And Put In A Turn Signal .. And Then Repaint Your Mirrors And Have The Real Deal .. Or Wait And See If We Can Have Someone Start Making Some For Ours Maybe Carbon Fiber Ones As Well .. Everything For Our Cars Is Hard To Get No One Makes Anything This Comeing From A Supra Owner As Well Where U Can Get Almost Any Part You Want .. I Mean Come On Have To Get A Stupid Tower Bar From Overseas .. No One In North American Can Make A Strut Tower Bar How Hard Is That .. ?????????????

Doesnt TRD have a strut bar for the Gen6 Camry's? I thought they did..

Besides, the Gen6 already has a front strut tower bar, but nothing fancy.
