New to Toyota

Hello everyone, just went out the day before with my wife and ordered and 2007 Toyota Camry SE V6 Alpine White, we optioned the leather,sun rooft and the nice JBL package, powerful engine at 268hps!!!!

I believe this Toyota camry it's a great choise between Nissan and a Honda, new style are a killer especially with that ground effects!!!! How about the tranny problem.....i've been reading a few of them and I hope it's not something that will happen to every new Toyota....

First, congrats on your purchase! The SE's are really sweet cars.

The tranmission problem usually isnt as big as everyone says. The most common problem is the flare between 3rd and 4th gear, which means that when you first start your car, the first shift from 3rd to 4th will jump a few hundred RPM's in between shifting.

I have that on mine, but it's actually gotten better by itself, although if it didnt I could easily live with it, because it usually only happens when the engine is cold.
