Perhaps an email to Toyota would get a response regarding UV protection. You might Google the net regarding the general question. I don't think that the Toyota glass is any different from any other tinted auto glass, so if you could find a manufacturers page it might tell you.

As for film on the windshield, I know that many states do not permit it. If your state does allow and you happened to drive into a state that didn't and get stopped, it might be an issue.

I'm not too sure I'd be worrying about how much UV comes through the windshield unless you are always driving into a setting sun. Filming the other windows will be bothl egal and effective in cutting UV.

"New Model Outline," which can be found here or there online:

TMC = Toyota Motor Corporation (Japan-built cars)
TMMK = Toyota Motor Manufacturing Kentucky (US-built cars)

I'll leave it up to everyone else to figure out what difference there might be between "UV Cut" glass and "HSEA" glass....
