5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I'm sorry if this has already been posted, but is there a site that retails/wholesales OEM Toyota parts? I found a few through google but I'm not sure which ones are reputable or not. Does anybody have any experience with different sites?
I've found toyotapartscheap.com/trademotion.com
and
toyautoparts.com
If anybody has any info about these sites or has another suggestion plz share.
It is Toyota of Dallas. If you check around they have the best prices generally on parts. I've purchased from them in the past and they were very prompt.
There are many Toyota dealers who retail parts via the internet. Google Toyota parts and you will bump into them.

Eh, I went there, they don't have the year car I need the part for.
It's not a camry, the only reason I posted it here as there's one person viweing the tercel forum (and two w hen I posted the topic), there's 57 people viewing the camry forum.
I have a '97 Tercel, nice little car, nice kick for the small motor, picked it up, mint condition, 500 bux. Gas mileage ftw I suppose.
So I'm still looking for a parts wholesailer/retailer.
I really don't know what you are looking at, but I asked myself how much for an air conditioning compressor and assuming it has power steering, the ac compressor is 350.51. Yes, it is listed for a 97 Tercel. Lots of parts for 97 Tercels--just have to look.

I don't know how you figure that. You click on the link, the site is: http://www.trdparts4u.com/ - When the site pops up I hit "Tercel" on the left side under "Accessories" - where it has each model. Then the years come up, only 1998 and 1999.
:crook:
I'm sorry, I'm confused on how u got to that.
EDIT:
Have you bought from them in the past? Are there prices better than other competitive retailing sites? Good and reputable?
^ Click Replacement Parts, on the left..under Toyota Parts..and do a search you can get the '97 Tercel there. But under Accessories there's only '98 and '99
Yes, I have ordered from them. For me they are also local which may help, but they get stuff out quickly. Like all parts they might have to order a 10 year old switch from the warehouse and that takes a couple days and then ship it via UPS--again a few days, so it might be a week or 9 days with the holiday, but they are good folks. There are several dealers scattered across the country who sell on the net. Some sell at full list; others are discounted. Dallas hits the best price most of the time. You might want to check the web pages of your own local dealers and see if they deal on the net.
Oh and I gather that now you understand how to search the parts lists? You needed parts, not accessories.

One other thing. Even if the web page doesn't ask for it, include your vin number in the comments section. I had to repair brakes on an 87 Camry one time and discovered that there was a number of changes made just on the brakes and had to have the vin to get the right stuff the first time. It was a pain, but for alight switch, it might also be important.

Yeah, I figured it out, my mistake.
See, it works like this, Johnson Toyota (nearest Toyota dealership) wants $230 for that switch, I got it from that site for $41 + shipping.
So if it fits and my headlights work right now and everything's peachy I think I made out pretty damn well =).
