Gen6 Gen6 - Rear Window seems distorted?

Anyone notice that when looking in the rear view mirror, the rear window has a distortion point in the middle? It may be the reflection of the light gray interior below the window, but I swear cars in the middle of my Rear View Mirror look distorted...

no window tinting here.

Over a year and no replies but yes, our '07 TCH has a noticeable distortion when looking rearward via the inside mirror. Seems to be most noticeable when looking at vertical lines such as the paint strip on the shoulder of the road or utility posts.

Ours is a Japan-built model.

I know exactly what you're talking about. I have an 04 XLE and an 09 XLE. My 04 has the same distortion on the rear window and the 09 doesn't. Shortly after I purchased the 04, I went to the dealer and checked out several Camry's on the lot. At least 3 of the cars I looked had the same defect. It's not easy to spot but if you look carefully, you can see it. When I purchased my 09, I checked it out before purchase. I didn't bother to get it replaced as it might create more issues if the job is not done right.

*I can't believe I came across my own thread today. *I am having the rear window replaced for radio-antenna issues that Toyota just identified in the 2007 Camry. **FM Stations are often have popping static when driving, and the dealer replaced the radio previously. *Now, they found a bulletin for the rear window replacement and are doing it right now! ***Hopefully the distortion goes away with the static!
