2007 Camry tire pressure sensors (TPMS): Wheel Swap

Will the valve stems and tire pressure sensors from a 2007 Camry LE 16" steel wheel transfer over to a 2007 Camry 16" alloy wheel (as found on the Hybrid or XLE)?

If the sensors swap over from steel wheels to alloy rims, and the same tires are used, do the sensors need to be re-calibrated?

Gen6 They will work

I did that with my 07Le camry. Last December I bought some factory chrome plated xle rims and had them put on my Le. The dealer charged me $90 to do the swap but they had to re-calibrate the sensors. Then when I traded my 07Le for a 07XLE in May they had to do the same thing because I wanted to keep the chrome rims for my xle and also keep the new tires that came on the new car. So, overall you should not have any problems swapping the tire pressure monitors.

Yes, the TPMS sensors are universal fit for CE,LE,XLE,TCH! No, they do not need to be recalibrated!

I swapped my 16" OEM XLE Rims for 18" GS430 rims a few months ago .... just removed them from the old rims, put on the new rims, mounted my tires & I was all set to go!
