Gen6 Leather Interior Installation

Hi Guys,

Has anyone tried to change the interior from Fabric to Leather on a 2007 Camry LE I4.

I have check with the dealer locally they are asking $2500 to replace the fabric with leather interior.

http://cgi.ebay.ca/2007-2008-Toyota-...QQcmdZViewItem

has anyone any idea about the above on ebay, the interior look great in the pictures, they claim to have special thread on the sides for airbag deplyment,

Is it easy enough to get it installed by myself anyone know how to replace the fabric on seats.

any feedback will be highly appriciated

Cheers!

I've seen leather covers from Toyota that replace the cloth seats, but I heard you need a professional to install it, so thats several hundred dollars.

I think it's a big job to say the least. Somebody posted the job as taking 3 days.

Here's the other thread.

I've decided to pass. You need the tools and probably a heat gun.

When I bought my XLE, they tried to steer me towards a TCH, But with little power, and a fabric interior, I was not feeling it. They did tell me they could put in leather easily for $900. I said drop in a V6, and you've got a deal!

Btw, this was Mark Jacobson Toyota.
