5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
just seen a commercial for this ride and was blown away. i thought it was the new g35 or something. the base model is only about 170 hp, v4 with a msrp of about 20 g's. the v6 is 3.5 engine, 270 hp.
This car should not compete with the G35. The G35 coupe is more performance oriented, hence the RWD. This is probably going to be biased more towards comfort, like Altima, than sport. It would mainly compete against Accord and Solara coupes.

what do you guys think?
I think your on crack if you think they're gonna put a V4 in the Altima.

of course it's gonna compete against the coupe and accord. however, nissan was very smart in borrowing some of g35's chassis design to boost its appeal. you know, toyota has been doing this for years with its camry vs. its lexus es counterparts..
I don't see any V4. Would be much easier, less expensive, and more profitable to use the Altima engine than to develop some weird ass non-conventional V4 engine for this coupe.
Anyhow, I guess you missed my point and I thought your would have figured out your blunder by now. But ignorance is bliss, so I guess I'll leave you alone.
