Gen5 JDM headlight adjustment

Hey guys, this is my first post here. I bought this set of headlights off of ebay:
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/02-03...31201916QQrdZ1

I got them installed but the passenger side lows are higher than the drivers side, so it looks like a slope effect on the road(sorry, dont have any pics of it). The thing is I can't find the adjustment screws for it, I only see 2 adjustment screws for the high beams. Does anyone here have these lights or know someone who does? Also, the small blue light on passenger side isn't working anywmore /sigh

edit: car is a 2002 camry LE 4 cyl

i had these... but i threw them out for the pieces of junk they were. if i remember, each beam had only one adjustment screw. so that second adjustment screw for the high beam is probably the adjustment for the low beam. i'm not entirely sure, but the easiest way to find out is try both screws!

Hmm ok i'll try that. I saw 2 screws on the high beam bulb so I figured one controlled left and right and the other up and down. I'll have to double check and see.

BTW, do you know what type of bulb that small bright light on the edge is? My passenger one seems to have blown out, but I haven't noticed any difference in brightness. Is it just for looks?

you mean the very top left light on your passenger headlight? thats the parking light... they take 194 bulbs... and are not just for looks.

The problem with those headlamps is that (1) they're not JDM... and (2) I'm almost certain they use a crappy plastic lens for the projectors instead of a good quality glass lens (LE05 can clarify this). You can never get good output from those headlamps.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

surprisingly, the lenses were glass. but you know, H1 projectors just suck in terms of output no matter what type of materials the lenses are made out of.

^Ah, they are glass. Ok, noted for future reference. But yeah, I've had people contact me about why they have crappy output with their ebay projectors... and the short answer... is that you get what you pay for.

LE05, you're right, the output does suck, but would putting some better H1s such as the PIAA xtremes 4000k be worth it? I'm thinking about snagging a pair from ebay since they are only 59 bucks, free shipping(compared to $100 at some shops i've been too):

it would help, but not by much. your best option is to try to resell your headlights and a) go back to stock, or b) save up money for a HID retrofit.
