Hey everyone, maybe this question has been asked and maybe even answered but unfortunately the search feature on this site doesn't really work......
What's the deal with the "Welcome to Camry" message on the radio upon start up? Has anyone figured out if this can be changed/deleted? I can't believe Toyota put such a tacky message there!

nah but i work at a toyota dealer and i drive the gen 6s all day long
no welcome message in my 03 tho...sadly....my car is just home for me so i always feel welcomed
I always turn off my radio and AC before I get out of the car, so I don't see it anymore since it only displays if the radio is on when you start the car. It's been covered before, no way to change it.
I think it would be cool if the message could be changed. Personally I'd use something like...
1) Hi Baby! Turn me up!
2) Welcome Master!
3) How YOU doin?
LOL........well if anyone ever figures this out, please let the rest of us know! Thanks!
Yeah, because all of those messages aren't tacky. I think the message on the Radio is ok -- but a little stupid. I don't hate it or love, don't think really anything of it. I think Toyota was just trying to be cute.
