lexus es300 & camry interchangable parts?

I found a good deal on a 2003 es300 and was thinking about selling my gen 5 and getting it. The only thing holding me back is the fear that regular maintenance and upkeep in going to cost a fortune, especially replacing parts such as the timing belt, spark plugs, wheel bearings, etc.

I used to own a lincoln towncar, and was able to use crown victoria parts on it. I know the es300 is very similar to the camry and probably uses the same chassis. Does anyone know if most or any of the parts for these two vehicles are interchangable? thanks...

The mechanical parts are generally interchangable but pick a particular part and research the prices for Toyota and Lexus to compare.
