Gen6 Gen 6 Camry 2 door (Solara) a possibility?

I just recently bought my wife a 2007 Camry LE V6 and I absolutely love the car (thanks for all the user suggestions prior to the purchase).

I would love to buy another camry, but want to be somewhat unique. I really like 2 door cars and would love it if Toyota would make a Solara style car again with the styling of the 2007 Camry. I was wondering if there has been any talk of this? I read that the Solara was somewhat successful, but sales dwindled towards the end. But, with all of the new hard top convertibles coming out, I was wondering if it Toyota had something similar in the works.

Thanks for reading!

If you want a two door camry, why not look at the Scion tC? If you want a hard top convertible, look at the SC 430... But, I started a thread not long ago on what I wiched the 08 Solara/Camry Coupe would look like. Click on the link in my sig. The first one.

There's a 50/50 chance that Toyota might make a Gen 3 Solara, but it's not certain yet because Toyota is currently developing the new Supra. Once the Supra comes in, the Solara is dead. Got my info from one of the Toyota development members which is a friend of mine.
