i removed a couple with pliers but I think you can try a trim remover tool, I got one of those later but I took them off to check out the nozzles heh but umm ya they dont break that easy but i'd say go take a look how they look like and think of something :-) but trim remover tool 90% sure if I remember the clips right

Where do you get the trim remover tool? I just used a screwdriver wrapped in black tape.

Removing the hoodliner is not a very good idea. The hoodliner absorbs a great amount of the heat created by the engine. Without the hoodliner there, your paint is going to bubble up on your hood.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

Removing the hood liner will not damage your paint... The sole purpose of the hood liner is to extinguish sound.

There are actually advantages to removing the hood-liner.

1. engine runs cooler, the heat isn't retained as much while stopped idling.

2. snow doesn't accumulate on the hood while the engine is on

3. saves weight

4. easier to clean the underside of the hood

5. looks brighter under the hood cause the paint shines, the dull cloth doesn't

BUT, I think he was asking cause he wants to add material to deaden sound?

Cause I've seen it, douche-y.

EDIT:

Hmm.. nevermind. What I saw was a hoodliner after it caught fire, which caused the paint to bubble.

I don't think douchey would be a very good nickname for a child. Talk about getting teased all the time. Especially if mom asks little douchey to "Clean up.". Anyways, bad joke and you guys may continue.
