Gen6 Tweeters

I'm looking at maybe putting some tweeters in my Camry, but not in the dash. I want to put them in A-pillar or the door. I think tweeters sound better when aimed at the listener but some can be too sharp.

Has anyone done anything like this? I'm looking at maybe getting a set of CDT components.

Damn...it sound a bit excessive, but that part right above the 6x9 below the door lock switch doesn't seem like a good location for flush mount because it's pointing downwards.

What would be the point of having tweets in the door and in the stock location? I've seen 3-way setups before, and CDT has some 3-way components, but I haven't seen an extra set of tweeters like you want.

I have a Premier DEH-P860MP head unit that I'm going to use.

So this doesn't look factory? In a Nissan 350z, but you get the idea.

its not a 3 way set up .. im running a 4 inch and tweet componet ... and then a 6.5 and tweet componet .. so its two sets and running each side of the car on a sep amp .. i have done iasca forever .. have been in several diff competitions and will only go with mb quart like nothing better the 4 inch below the buttons will be slightly angled almost flush though .. YOU WONT FIND ANYTHING SOUDING BETTER.

I don't know about your car, but my car has side curtain airbags in the A-Pillar ... I wouldn't mess around in that area if it were me!

I was curious why you were putting so many speakers in the car.

I used to have Polk speakers and the CDTs I was looking at are the first set I'm getting that isn't mass marketed. I did look into MB Quart and Image Dynamics also. I'm still not sure what I'm getting yet.
