Hand brake is in the same location, but it is further over if you are on the right side. In North America, only the manual cars have a handbrake lever. The automatics have a pedal type parking brake.
does anyone know if there are any other bezel options other then the one they offer at crutchfield and one on ebay. I forget the name of the one on ebay but it looked fairly complex as it came with bezel and a bunch of interior mounting brackets for single/double din placement.
It would be great if there was a double din bezel option with a door to hide my HU since the HU sits so high up in clear view. I'd prefer not to put in an expensive HU or flipout DVD that visible on my center console.
What options do I have? Putting the crutchfield bezel with a double din display and tuck the HU under by the aux power w/door? I'd go that route but I'm not sure I want to drop all of that money into a DD display unless I go BT/GPS/DVD all in one which I'm not willing to shell out at this moment.
Ideally I want to replace the factory HU, pop in a alpine reg HU (non-display/flipout), retain my steering wheel controls, as well as have a double din door to tuck the HU behind...is this possible?
ah you might as well drop all your money into the DD display, you pay for what you get! i think you can purchase a single din/double din face to replace the HU from the dealers!
you have to take out the bottom left and right pillars with the chrome trim on the bottom
then take out the area around your shifter
then take out the area under the a/c unit where the aux input is
then take out the a/c vents on the top just pull them out
and un bole 2 bolts on top of cd player and 2 bolts on bottom and i think thats it
its pretty easy lemme know if you need any help
