do they slow down the car or affect fuel consumption?

I also got a set of painted mud guards from Toyota dealer...

haven't installed them yet, because I'm afraid they may slow down the car or raise fuel consumption...

You're joking of course. They actually increase horsepower by 4.

OBTW, great cinematography.

they wont slow down the car, in theory they will but you wont notice it since you're never going that fast same with stock spoilers on these cars they have no performance effect heh
the only thing i'm thinking that might change is during hard rain or snow that it might be trapped within the wheels space a lil longer because there's a lil less space for it to escape, other than that it wont really made a difference besides the look and use of it

Of course I was kidding....

On the other hand.... depending on wind direction, the mud flaps may actually help propel
the car faster....(but probably has to hurrican strength winds before it makes any difference)
