will there be a new Solara based on the Gen 6 Camry?

the only reason I ended up buying my current '07 Camry recently is that the Solara was
an "old" model... I really wanted a two door coupe like the Solara, but I don't like buying'
cars at the end of their production cycle....

Thanks for any info!

2008 Camry production

I received a call from my Toyota dealer today. He said my 2008 Camry SE would be built the first week in August 2007, so it looks like they are just about ready to start production.

No, the Solara is not going to be continued beyond the Gen 2-2.5 model.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.
