Door closing squeak - weatherstripping?

I did a couple of searches on this one, but its hard to narrow down "door" and "squeak". This certainly isn't a rattle of any sort. Whenever I close the passenger side door mildly hard, upon closing, I hear a loud squeak. It's like a dog yelping if you accidentally step on it paw. Very odd. If I let gravity close the door (gently nudge it) I can reproduce the sound about 50% of the time.

At first, I thought it was some wax or water that was being squished out. I did find some water droplets on the inside door frame, but the weatherstripping was dry. After looking closer at the weatherstrip, there are holes in it at certain intervals. I'm assuming this is to allow the stripping to expand and contract. I'm also thinking that this is where the sound comes from when air is forced out these holes. Makes a whistling squeak sound.

Anyone else have these symptoms? I just noticed it today after lunch and when I got home. It a brand new '07 camry LE /w 800 miles on it.

Thanks all.

Take it back to the dealer and let them know. No point in dealing with it yourself if you are still under warranty.

When I bought my truck new many years ago, i noticed there was a talcum powder-like substance ont he gasket. It probably helped break the seal that's creating that noise give it a try.
