Gen6 Timing or chain belt

Anyone know if ours 07 camry v6 running timing belt or chain belt?

iirc it should be chain, i think most manufacturers are moving towards chain again increase resale value since chains are good for atleast 200K (i think) as opposed to belts which are usually 100K. I know the previous gen5 V6 (3.0L & 3.3L) were belt.

Check your repair manual. It likely already is a chain.

A Gen 5 4cyl has a chain. A Gen 5 V6 has a belt. Upgrading to a chain is not worth the money that would probably be involved. I can imagine that you'd have to do a major overhaul in order to complete such a "retrofit".
