Gen6 alignment after putting on rims?

i just got the Axis Matrix 18x8 with the Nankang NS-II 225/45/18 tires... i'm just wondering should i go get an alignment after putting on the rims? btw i didn't drop the car... incase it matters...

Changing rims alone should not affect the geometry.

No, changing wheels will not affect alignment in your application.

A shaking steering wheel has NOTHING to do with alignment. Nothing at all.

My bad, I was thinking of something else when I typed that. An alignment only needs to be when one of the components wears out (spring sag, upper bearings strech, tierod, etc.), if you hit something hard such as a pothole, replaced your shocks or springs, uneven tire wear, etc.

If you got shaking/vibration from your steering wheel after you put in your new rims and balance tires already...you might consider installing the Hub Ring Centric as your new rims are universal fit for other cars than just our Camry. Do a search on Hub Ring Centric.

as long as the suspension/steering components arent touched the geometry should be fine
