Hello, im new to the forum. I plan on getting a 2007 or 2008 Toyota Camry SE V6. I want to know if I can fit 22" rims on it without it rubbing or anything?
that's silly IMO... by the time you get to wheels of that caliber, handling only deteriorates the larger the rim, not to mention the car will ride like a truck... besides wheels that big would look ridiculous on a camry, those are like truck wheels... personally i wouldn't go any bigger than 19" or 20" as that's where you get optimal handling and ride....

true I mean from the pics I seen 20" dont look that big. I have to see them in person.
Albo,
The 20" are big in person. It also depends on the style of the rims.
The deep lip like my rims look nice but it also make the rims appear to be smaller in the overall diameter (look like 19").
The style that has the spokes out to the lips (which has no deep lip) makes the rims appear to be larger than they are which makes a 19" look like a 20".
It all depends on the style you choose.
But yeah, don't go anything bigger than 20".

alright, cool. I never knew that the lip makes that big of a difference. Thanks!

Actually 19 or 20" isn't even close to optimal handling and ride...
Back up to about a 17" or even smaller.
Don't you think that if the larger sizes were better for handling that everyone in RACING would be using them? You bet they would, every little tiny gain makes a huge difference. An increase in unsprung weight has one of the largest impacts on performance than anything else. It seriously decreases acceleration, braking, and handling. Larger wheels are heavier. Super short sidewalls also decrease performance, that's why there isn't ONE SINGLE racing series that has such short sidewalls.
Large rim diameters are a material of cosmetic appeal OVER performance.
TRD knows what hes talking about....large wheels sizes really just add looks....they worsen your ride and handling to say the least...i think 16-17in is optimal....even 18's on a camry is pushing it
if u want 22's, consider a tundra
What would be the widest rim for the rear wheels on the SE if you went with a staggered set up? Could it fit 10" in the rear on a SE without hanging out the wheel well?

Now why would you do something silly like staggering the wheels on a Camry? That would look ridiculous...

A 10" would not fit in the rear, nor would a 9.5", +40mm offset when I tried. To give you an idea, here's my old setup with 19x9", +37mm offset all around:
