trd shift knob and radiator cap

bought a trd shift knob for abt $75cad w/ no tax compared to paying $120+ 14% tax in canada and radiator cap for $23cad im in hong kong on vacation right now and there are a ton of nice cars T__T saw some nice AE111 trueno's and levins, a few chasers and some supra's! there are also skylines, evo's etc... anyways i noticed the camry's in hong kong are the same as ours in NA, only difference is they come stock with HID'S and side mirror turning signals, i presume that i'd have to run wires from the side mirror to the fuse box in the engine bay in order for them to work correct? do u think its worth the trouble? another option would be side markers but that be'd even more trouble-some.

If I were you, I would try to get my hands on a set of OEM HID headlights while I'm over there. The sid mirror turning signals would be nice also. BTW, love the shift knob.

I know this is an old post, but does the 1.3 bar/18.5psi radiator cap work on the I4? I'm looking to dress up the engine compartment.

Thanks,

Eric.

Oh one more thing. Will this oil cap fit? I hope so, I made an offer and they accepted.

Thanks,

That's a fake TRD cap. There are many of those on eBay for other brands as well. All they do is change the decal on the cap for other manufacturers.

^ Yup, they come with the sticker to place on top of the oil cap. It's fine, but if you don't apply it good enough, the sticker will melt off due to the heat from the engine. I've bought a Nismo one for my FX and so far, it's sticking pretty well.

So that you can compare the two, here is a picture of what the genuine TRD oil cap looks like....

Mine is genuine also, but is different. Note that I painted the TRD letters red myself.

Is this one still available to purchase through TRD? It seems like it has been discontinued.
