5th & 6th Generation (2002-2006 & 2007-2011)Toyota Camry Discussion for years: 2002-2006 & 2007-2011
Topics of discussion range from fuel economy, safety, modifications, performance all involving America's favorite family car, the Toyota Camry.
I noticed a crack on my engine cover today, and not thinking I was trying to figure out what made it crack so I pulled one of the corners of the engine cover and it broke at one of the nuts. So I took off the cover and tired to glue together the broken parts. It's just not the same. And I can't find a replacement cover on ebay or online for a reasonable price. Does anyone have any susguessions.
The tC carbon fiber engine cover fits the Camry. I've got one. Only thing is that the holes on the CF cover were just slightly off, so I use a drill to enlarge the bolt holes just a little bit. There's really no part number as far as I can remember... just search for it on ebay.

Glaring blue HID bulbs are NOT classy, and don't make your car look nice, no matter what that kid in the Civic told you.

That looks really nice!
How is the clearance with the oil fill cap? I have an aluminum TRD cap and it just barely fits on with the factory engine cover in place. I've considered getting that engine cover but was wondering if there would be any additional interference.

Thanks.
I had no issues with clearance with the oil fill cap. I think that it actually has a slightly larger opening from the stock opening, but I can't be certain.. if I get a chance either later tonight or tomorrow, I'll measure my stock one and the CF one... but I don't think you'll have fitment issues.

Damn! $300!? Really!? I bought it like... I'd say... a year and a half ago maybe... and I got it for like ~$115.
my guess, is that the one i saw on ebay is the genuine thing. toyota of dallas sells it for $280, but with shipping and all that, it'll come out to $300. i doubt they even have it in stock!
