Is my AC working properly?

Hi Guys,
I noticed that AC in my car turn itself ON when I set it to Floor/Windshield. The AC light stays OFF all the time but I can definitely feel cold air coming from the vents.
The same happens when I set the knob to the Windshield position.
Any suggestions?
Thanks.

Normal operation. It should come on in the windshield or defrost position in order to remove moisture from the air.
