It seems on par to me.

Who would develop a short ram if they didn't have their head in their ass in the first place. If I had a hand in product development, I surely wouldn't be producing gimmick items like SRI's to begin with. His professional manner is equal to his professional expertise.

Spectre sucks anyways. Then don't make "performance" products. They make "dress up" products.

man he got crazy over nothing. if i read the last thread correctly all you said is what you explained to him about being disappointed in no dyno runs.

maybe it was the kid that got it installed that opened his mouth and said that TN was trash talking his product. he did not properly mention that you were just diasapointed in no dyno runs and you were not involved in trash talking.

Let me directly address a point that is being overlooked. He is harping about the $4k he spent and acts like he did you 'and your Camry friends' a favor...WTF

That money was an investment. It is called new product development. He isn't someone providing a service pro-bono to the poor. He is a manufacturer who saw a market opportunity and invested the time and money to attempt to capture it. He isn't doing anyone favors other than himself. The Camry owner who got the SRI and dyno didn't get any favors because it was compensation in exchange for the use of this car as the guinea pig. I guarantee he had to sign a waiver of liability to hold Sceptre harmless should something go awry.

Also, as for the statement about competitor's performance, I posted the Fujita5 I-4 SRI dyno in the other thread.

Unfortunately I think the "consumers" really have nobody to blame but themselves for a lot of this. I don't think it's all consumers in any way, but there appears to be an overwhelming majority these days who try and take advantage of anything they can... Vendors, manufacturers and services are so wound up responding to dickheaded consumers they've become jaded.

Just go to the return isle of any store, people returning stuff they couldn't afford to begin with but they've used/damaged the product... Nitpickers. I knew a lady that legally forced a stamped concrete contractor to redo her driveway 4 times because of stupid chit like the color being one shade off, or one stamping misaligned by like 1/8".

Businesses have had to therefore make policies and use a lot of legalities in order to keep from going belly up, this is the harsh reality and it looks like they're throwing customer service out the window as a result.

FWIW - regarding the OT... Throughout my many years dealing with performance creative individuals. They are ALL dickheads. The only way to please them and get information out of any one of them is to "bow to their knowledge." You have to be thoroughly "loyal" to them and NEVER divulge anything they have EVER said to you... They get off on the fact they can make something faster than anyone else, it makes them top-dog and if you don't take them seriously or present yourself as a threat, they'll treat you like total shit! I've known countless dudes who actually win races, they're all the same.

It may hurt your eyes for nothing but for someone like me whom lives in SoCal will help me to avoid doing business with such company.
This is why we share information on this forum.

Any "investment" in the Camry community is a bad investment, we are too small of a community that any business should really waste too much time developing products for. Most of the guys aren't willing to spend any real $$ on their cars anyhow. The OP looks just as bad as the company in this thread.
