Well, to keep it short and to the point, we kind of feel slighted as far as getting dyno numbers for that intake. There wasnt a single person that cared about how the intake looked or what not, for the most part the main point of that whole ordeal was to get definitive numbers to back up your product. We got nothing for baseline numbers and nothing for after install numbers and that was what the entire TN community was looking for.
As for choice words...... there wasnt any name calling if you're asking. I basically stated that I was disappointed with how the testing turned out. Not the product itself, as I have no clue what that looks like in person, just the research and hard numbers to go along with it.
When we first discussed this project we both spoke on how there would be a before and after. Just like there was with the mini, but we did not get that. Now, from what you posted on the TN forum I can see the guy DID in fact get some numbers, he just didnt post them. Thats on him.
I do apologize for not first speaking to you, but even so, it would not change the fact that I was disappointed. We still would not have before and after numbers to look at.
B
who said it wasn't getting dyno'd? I am not sure if the kid did not understand he was coming back later or ??? but jesus fucking christ, we went out of our way and blew about $4000 in tooling costs to make a fucking adapter for your camry friends, and before you even bother to PM me you're talking shit on the internet? grow the fuck up is kinda what I think I should be saying here.
I think you need to calm down and do some growing up of your own. I wasnt "talking shit on the internet" either, i was stating my opinion on how it appeared this thing had gone down. You can call that "talking shit" if you'd like, but again, I would think you'd speak with a bit more professionalism than this.
Unless this is what can be expected from you, in which case we can end this conversation and any future communication completely. I dont have time to deal with someone whos going to be a child and speak to me that way, thats for sure. Especially when that person is getting their "virtual panties in a twist" over something as trivial as someones "opinion" on how some product testing went.
And to answer your question, no the kid obviously didnt think he was getting dyno'd again. As is apparent from reading the thread. He never once jumped in saying anything to that effect anyway. There is more than one post in that thread from the kid saying that he was disappointed about not getting his dyno time and all that, so why get all upset at me?
Either way, its a done deal. We can see that we can expect a 3hp and 3tq increase from your company's intake setup. That was the entire point of the testing, and the answer is now there and available for everyone to see. The project was a success, thanks for taking it on.
My complaint is simply this: you posted comments on how the situation finished, before it was finished, and before even asking me what was going on with the dyno. Your failure to acknowledge the fact that I rushed him in here for an install the minute I had the part in hand (as a courtesy to you, and as a top priority here), plus your comments about the install being a failure, is YOU being an immature pain in the ass - calling or PMing me first would have been a MATURE way to handle it, so don't talk to me about getting my panties in a bunch when I spend thousands of dollars to help out your Camry pals, and end up having to deal with bullshit like this from you. If you think that means *I* need to grow up, well, you're wrong.
Since you're going to make even MORe comments like, "well, all we can expect from your company's intake is 3hp and 3tq" - if you're trying to make any kind of comparison, then do the RIGHT thing and have me dyno the competitor's intakes on your cars. I'll do it for free. That way, when you say "only 3hp" I can reply with "and that's more than Brand X did"
make sense?

But again, this is stupid. My level of care and involvement has reached its end. You proved what your product is capable of, there is info to back it, case closed. Anything further is just your getting defensive over nothing.
So, unless you have something constructive to pass on, dont pm me anymore. Obviously civil communication is beyond your grasp.
And here is where he trys to throw the final poo at me, or whatever he was trying to do... lol.... notice how he always seems to say "ricer" or "douche" or "idiot" to someone to try and get under their skin. And then he trys to attack my car.... lol

If you want to finish this way, cool. My opinion of you is that you are a complete idiot at this point. have fun with your hotrod camry

And this is my final response to him, im betting he'll still reply to me.... what a child.

But you go ahead and throw your temper tantrum if thats what makes you feel better about yourself.
Again, I really would rather not hear from you again, because you're really just spinning your tires here and wasting energy on a dead issue.

Still cant let it go huh? Still name calling like a child. Grow up DG. I know you'd like to goad me into some kind of internet pm battle but thats not going to happen. You've said your unintelligent piece, and Ive said mine. Now please spare my inbox with anymore of your worthless school yard name calling, I keep thinking Im getting messages that matter, but it keeps turning out to be more ignorant nonsense from you.
Although, these messages really do solidify what was said (and is said) about you. I didnt think it was true at first, but Im convinced now. Its a shame too because I actually enjoyed reading alot of what you said (technical wise) on OR and here.
Oh well, this will be the last message you receive from me. Regardless of what you respond with (because I know you have to get the last word in). Predictable..... lol. Doh!!

did you think about this all weekend before you sent it? I almost forgot we were arguing.
Now, i posted all of this for you to see for one reason. To show you who you're really dealing with over there. None of this was edited, its is straight from my pm inbox, to you.
Notice the professionalism on his part? Interesting isnt it? Also keep in mind, Ive actually seen this guy twice, and talked to him once. Thats it, there is no friendship there, not even an acquaintance. I came to him a professional capacity requesting professional assistance, i.e. a customer to a business with just a touch of local familiarity. Is this the caliber of person you'd like to deal with? Can this be expected from this company? The choice and decision is yours...... i know what conclusion I came too.

No biggy, I assumed you didnt know who he was or what the situation was about. Either way... doesnt speak very well for them at all. Nice representation they have huh? I especially enjoyed what he had to say about our "hotrod" camrys.... seems a bit negative huh? A little condescending dont you think?

So let me get this straight... This guy at spectre got pissed because you voiced your honest opinion to his potential market?
WOW... lol, talk about cliffs notes. Yes, that about sums it up. He got mad because I wasnt pleased with how the situation appeared to unfold. Then he proceeded (as you can see) to toss school yard name calling at me. Real grown up huh? Funny thing is the guy is in his thirtys too.....

I definitely hear what you are saying. There are alot of people in the business world today that are just out to make money and don't care for the customer service aspect. More and more I've found that this is happening. It sucks, but it's the way of the world. Money makes the world go round...
