Gen5 RSB makes squeaking noises

I have the TRD RSB... and every few months it starts squeaking. each time, i clean off the bushings and the bar, and reapply lubricant. unfortunatley, that damn squeak just keeps coming back after a few months!

i've tried synthetic grease and white lithium grease, and nothing lasts long enough. anyone have any suggestions?

Did you try wrapping the areas in teflon tape before applying the lubricant?

The sway bar didn't come with any grease?

I've installed several sway bars and used the included grease without a problem. I've also used Mobil 1 synthetic grease without a problem either.

it did, but the squeaking started up after several months. i've had the sway bar for almost a year now, so maybe the bushings are worn out also.

Bushings are not worn out, re-grease it, that is all.

Squeaking is usually caused by rapid vibrations. Make sure you clean the bar and the bushing very wheel. Then lightly coat the entire bushing. That's all that I can think of. Like I said, I've never had a problem.

I heard about a few people having issues with the TRD sway bar squeaking. That's one of the reasons I took it took the dealership to be installed correctly and so if any abnormal squeaking starts I can take it back to them and let them deal with it. So far, so good. No squeaks yet.
